I played it late 02 early 03 during holiday season and it has stuck with me for almost 20 years. I'm a simple man, I think the director's cut with the paper cover is better because it looks much cooler. Looks better in game and some bugs got fixed, and also there's the Maria story as well. Personally I bought it 2 months ago and I'm happy with it.
